Christmas is a season of great joy! it is also a time when God shows His great love for us. The Keturah Hamilton Foundation visited Skid Row in downtown LA on Christmas Day 2015 and spread God’s love by giving away gifts to the less fortunate. 

It was an overwhelming experience for the many volunteers that participated as thousands of less fortunate people were so festive and in high spirits, despite their struggles. The beautiful faces of those boys and girls were filled with the joy of being a child at Christmas time when we handed them the wrapped gifts. 

This was the best Christmas I have ever experienced because while spreading love, we received so much love from all those amazing people. I have learned that love is the only thing in the world that we have in common, no matter who we are. 

Thanks Skid Row for teaching and showing me the true meaning of Christmas! Also, thanks to all the amazing volunteers and sponsors who make this possible.
