The Keturah Hamilton Foundation second annual back to school giveaway was held in Jamaica WI on August 30th at Tredegar Park St. Catherine, and on August 31st at Knockpatrick Manchester at Newsman Center. Both of these events were a huge success for these beautiful children. Lots of laughter, food, ice cream, activities, and more importantly love. The KHF gave away over 200 school bags, pencils, pens, dictionaries, and composition notebooks. We chose these area because we became aware of the dire needs of these children. We wanted to give them a fair chance at an education during the upcoming school year. They are our future and we can all make a difference even if it’s changing one life at time.
