Keturah Hamilton is the founder of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation and was elected to the Board as President in January of 2015. Hamilton is a Los Angeles based actress from Jamaica, West Indies. She has appeared in numerous films and TV series and has also performed on stage in many plays. Growing up in the beautiful island of Jamaica, Keturah was blessed to be raised by her mom and an incredible stepfather, who was a humanitarian. She decided to follow in her stepfather’s footsteps and established the Foundation to make a difference in people’s lives.As President of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation, Hamilton manages all activities of the Foundation. She also organizes and participates in every fundraiser and humanitarian project.
David Parker was elected to the Board of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation as Vice President in January of 2015, when the Foundation was incorporated. Parker is a 38-year veteran of the oil industry, specializing in refined petroleum products. He served as Senior Vice President, Product Supply and Wholesale Marketing at Valero Energy Corporation until his retirement in 2013. Parker is currently the President of DMP Energy Consultants, LLC and operates under Service Agreements with various clients. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alaska - Fairbanks, a Bachelor of Science, Accounting degree from Illinois State University, and a Certified Public Accountant certificate in the State of Illinois. Parker has served as a Director for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Anchorage, Alaska and the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio, Texas. He has also held various officer positions in the Anchorage East Rotary Club. Patrick Maitland was elected to the Board of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation as Secretary in January of 2015. Maitland is a Jamaican-born award-winning journalist, who has worked in communications, marketing, and public relations for over 30 years. He founded and served as publisher and editor-in-chief of The Agriculturalist Newspaper and The Tropical Farmers Almanac, leading journals for agriculture, environmental news, and technical information in Jamaica WI. Maitland also established the New York-based Street Hype, after migrating to the USA in 1997. He served as a community relations officer for the Consulate General of Jamaica – New York, building relationships to support the mission of the Consulate. As Secretary of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation, Maitland builds positive relationships with partner organizations, policymakers, and media.
Kaleem Ahmad was elected to the Board of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation as Director in January of 2015. Ahmad worked in foster care for over a decade before he became a full-time entrepreneur. He holds a master’s degree in social work, specializing in mental health, from Clark Atlanta University. Ahmad also holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Delaware State University. Ahmad has worked with Giving Back to Humanity, Boys and Girls Clubs, and the Salvation Army. As Director of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation, he assists in organizing fundraisers and humanitarian projects.
Baba Ewan Walker was elected to the Board of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation as Director in January of 2015. Walker worked in the beauty industry for over 30 years and became one of the most highly requested makeup artists in New York. He graduated with high honors from the Fashion Institute of Technology and has been published in Vogue, Allure, and Essence magazines. Walker also worked in the entertainment industry for Sony, BMG, NBC, Next Media, and others. Walker is currently pursuing his passion for healing by creating medicines with plants and herbs. He has created luxurious wellness sanctuaries where people can heal through beauty and spirituality. As Director of the Keturah Hamilton Foundation, Walker volunteers for humanitarian projects with the focus on meal preparation
