Over 2,000 children are currently learning under heartbreaking conditions sitting on bare floors, studying beneath leaking roofs, in classrooms that have long since crumbled. The Keturah Hamilton Foundation is rebuilding their school, and their future, from the ground up.
ADC Grammar School in Apomu, Osun State, Nigeria currently serves over 2,000 children young people full of potential, showing up every day with hope and resilience, eager to learn. But the building they walk into tells a different story.
Children sit on bare floors without desks. Classrooms have deteriorating walls. Leaking roofs let in rain. The structure that is supposed to be a place of safety, learning, and possibility has become a daily reminder of how little the world has invested in these children.
The Keturah Hamilton Foundation is committed to changing that completely. This is not a patch-up project. This is a full school rebuild: electricity, running water, proper seating, structural repairs, and a learning environment these children deserve.
The rebuild is part of a broader, multi-year initiative led by the Foundation to expand access to education in underserved communities worldwide. Corporate partners like Double AA Corporation have already stepped in to fund critical phases of the renovation.
Foundation directors Raven Bowens and Shay Domingo are traveling to Nigeria in August 2026 to personally support the rebuild on the ground because this Foundation has always believed that showing up in person is not optional. It is the mission.
The Foundation continues to seek additional partners, sponsors, and individual donors to support school supplies, hygiene products, and ongoing operational needs for students. Every dollar raised goes directly to the children.
This is what Keturah believes in, creating a lasting legacy and building a life rooted in purpose, compassion, and service.
For the first five years, Keturah solely funded the mission herself, driven by a deep belief that giving back is a selfless act of love and purpose.
She traveled to San Francisco to personally present a scholarship to a student whose future deserved to be seen and supported.
The Keturah Hamilton Foundation proudly awarded a scholarship to Ibe Rose, a young woman in Nigeria pursuing a degree in Customer Care Management.
In celebration of our 6th Annual Thanksgiving for the Less Fortunate, Zeus Network generously donated $10,000 in support of our causes. Their contribution reflected a shared commitment to service, compassion, and community impact.
An annual back to school giveaway held at Jim Gilliam Park in Los Angeles, in partnership with actor Malcolm Mays and Raven Bowens, provided over 250 children with school bags and essential supplies. Sponsored by New Balance and the Kinnect Foundation, the event aimed to ensure students begin the school year prepared and supported.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, which severely impacted Jamaica, The Keturah Hamilton Foundation provided critical support to affected families and communities. With the help of our partners and supporters, assistance was delivered to help rebuild a home, bring farms back to life, and replace livestock lost in the storm, allowing families to begin restoring their livelihoods and stability.
The ADC Grammar School rebuild is one of the most ambitious projects in the Foundation’s 10 year history. It will not be completed by one donor, one event, or one partner. It will take a village.
Every dollar you donate goes directly to the children of Apomu, Nigeria. Your contribution funds the physical rebuild, the school supplies, the desks, the electricity, the running water everything that transforms a crumbling structure into a place where 2,000 children can finally learn with dignity.
Donors who contribute $200 or more will receive a permanent tribute on the Builders Wall at ADC Grammar School, a lasting recognition visible to every student, teacher, and family for generations to come.
